INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY
THE CHALLENGE
Hands Across the Water, a social enterprise supporting disadvantaged children and communities in Thailand, set out to host a special International Women’s Day event in 2019. The brief was to develop a campaign that celebrated women with a style that was rich, bold, colourful, and inspiring. The creative also needed to lay the foundation for a broader visual identity refresh across Hands’ digital content.
MY ROLE
As Creative Lead, I conceptualised and designed the entire visual direction for the campaign — from the International Women’s Day event identity to the broader brand application across digital channels. The work blended vibrant colours, layered textures, and empowering messaging to reflect the strength and diversity of women within the communities Hands supports. This new creative direction was later adopted as a cornerstone for the organisation’s wider digital branding.
THE OUTCOME
The event, hosted in Sydney, was a major success — both visually and impact-wise — helping to raise thousands of dollars for the Hands Across the Water community. The campaign not only left a lasting impression on attendees but also helped evolve the organisation’s digital presence through a more unified and expressive brand identity.
